2007 / 87 This lady lives in the little shack behind her. When she saw me walking down her lane holding my camera, she asked me if I would be kind enough to take her picture. I said sure, at which time she adjusted her sari and held up her baby. After I took this picture, I showed it to her on the back of my camera. She seemed pleased and to thank me for my kindness she tried to give me a small piece of jewelry, similar to the mark that she has between her eyes. I told her that I couldn't accept it because I'm still single.

The Buddha said that if we knew the true meaning of generosity we would not let a single meal pass without sharing our food with others. I guess so.
