| Back to http://thomasriddle.net Pictures from Bodh Gaya, India, 2003.© Tom Riddle. Bodh Gaya is the place where the Buddha attained his full awakening 2500 years ago. These days it is a place of pilgrimage for Buddhist pilgrims from around the world. I visited Bodh Gaya in early 2003 and took these pictures with the Canon G3 camera. The last six pictures of this set come from the Pragya Vihara School, an inter-religious school started by Western pilgrims to Bodh Gaya. Christopher Titmuss, a meditation teacher, helps raise funds for this school. You can read more about the school at http://www.insightmeditation.org/prajna_vihar_school.htm. |
