Chatuchak,
views from the Elephant

The Chang or "Elephant" Building (below) is on the corner of Pahon Yothin and Ratchadaphisek Roads, in the northern part of Bangkok called Chatuchak.

The top floor of the Chang Building, where I took these pictures is unfinished and eerily deserted.

From the Chang Building, the Baiyoke Tower is about 9 kilometers away (below).
These pictures, starting from north of the Chang Building (left), will give you a 360 degree view of this part of the city.
East of the building (right), Phahon Yothin Road stretches to the horizon.

This panoramic picture begins south of the Chang Building and finishes in the west looking back into the city center.
