Most of my time in Cambodia was spent
in an office, but I was in the first UN helicopter to land in
Preah Vehear, a remote province in Northern Cambodia.
The British kept some unexploded
American ordnance outside the office I worked in.
Last year I took lots of pictures
of school kids in Laos.
One of my Cambodian classes had me
pose with them on their graduation day. I'm in the back, third
from the left. Behind me is Anchor Wat, the Cambodian equivalent
of Mount Rushmore, Statue of Liberty, and Washington Monument,
all rolled into one.
