| Our driver, Tashi, thought that roads were things to be traveled on only when you didn't know the shortcut. During one of his shortcuts we drove for more than an hour through what seemed to be to be a place where no one had ever driven before. When we stopped to stretch our legs the occupants of this nomad camp came running out to see the strangers from Mars. The woman on the left is in the next picture. |
