At the high passes the Tibetans like to hang prayer flags and, if the wind is right, construct prayer wheels. The theory is that the wind will spin a container that has written on it holy mantras. Inside the container are prayers for the salvation of all beings. This pass was in the Everest region of Tibet. Unfortunately clouds hid Everest from us.
